As a mission organisation our aim is to show the love of God to the people we serve by offering them help with their material and their spiritual needs.
We are involved in many community activities such as tutoring, hospital and prison visit, and emergency assistance. We take every opportunity we get to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the friends we make through these programmes.
One greatest need for young South Asian people in Hong Kong is employment. Long term unemployment leads many into a downward spiral of crime, drug addiction and prison. That’s why, in mid-2006, we started a training school teaching commercial cooking skills for the unemployed. We now believe that God is leading us to expand this work and open our own restaurant.
South Asian children in Hong Kong face many challenges: most live in cramped conditions and many of them go to schools where they learn in a second language. ICM runs a Bible clubs and other children’s ministries with the help of church volunteers.
