Volunteering

Inner City Ministries welcomes volunteers to join any of our ministries. Our children, family and Youth ministries all function at their best with volunteers taking part. We also welcome anyone to join in with our bible studies, worship, mission and outreach activities. Please read on.

TutoringEDUCATION : We run tutorials and classes for children of school age on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday helping our children with language development, language classes in English and Cantonese, help with homework, extra tuition in Math, Science and other subjects. There is always a need for very specific help guidance or tuition including specialist activities such as speech therapy. For more information please contact us on volunteer@innercityministries.org

kids clubKIDS CLUB on a Saturday is a joyful occasion when kids have various fun activities which centre around bible teaching and worship. We welcome anyone who would like to add further creative touch to Kid's Club.  Please contact Tryfina or Caroline for further information.

OUTREACH

FRIDAY OUTREACH : We are committed to mission and outreach in loacl parks and public areas where we use songs, dance, drama and testimony to proclaim the Gospel. You are most welcome to join us but we would also value your prayers for us as we preached the salvation of Jesus to those who may have never heard the Good News before or those who need to be reaquanted with the love of Jesus. Inner City Ministries receives no subvention from the Hong Kong Government and as such we live entirely by faith relying entirely on donations from local Churches, organizations and individuals. Our accounts are readily available for public scrutiny and we are happy to answer enquires about giving. Inner City Ministries Ltd is a registered charity No 662960 under Hong Kong Inland Revenue Ordinance Section 88. Please note that all donations over HK$100 are eligible for tax deduction in Hong Kong. All donations should be made in Hong Kong Dollars but please do enquire with us at admin@innercityministries.org.

Specific projects

Inner City Ministries has certain very specific projects for which it is seeking funding.  These are related to our Catering ministries, our mission training in Hong Kong, support for individuals and staff and our Mission to Nepal, specifically the ministry in the village of Jumlah.
